How to Earn Points

Points are earned based on the virality of videos and posts created. You can participate individually or as part of a team.

Point System

Content Uploads

• 1 point per valid video uploaded.

• Limit: You can accumulate up to 30 points for video uploads. After that, additional points will be determined by the number of views.

Views Obtained:

• 10 points for every 10,000 views accumulated.

• 300 points for every 1 million views accumulated.

YouTube Videos or Blog Posts:

• Points generated from YouTube videos or blog posts will be worth 3 times more.

Teamwork

• Points accumulated by team members will be added together.

Bookster Challenge Prizes

Total Prizes

1st Place:

• 1000 USD for the individual or team with the most points accumulated by the end of the challenge (February 28th), subject to conditions.

Intermediate Prize:

• 300 USD for the leader of the leaderboard on February 5th, subject to conditions.

2nd Place:

• 300 USD for the individual or team in second place at the end of the challenge (February 28th), subject to conditions.

Participant Raffles:

• 2 prizes of 100 USD each will be raffled among all valid participants who meet the rules.

Premium Memberships:

• 3 memberships for 12 months for the participants in 3rd, 4th, and 5th places on the final leaderboard.

• 5 memberships for 6 months for the participants in 6th through 10th places on the final leaderboard.

Prize Conditions

General Requirements:

1. The content must:

   • Mention that the app is free.

   • Use the hashtag #BooksterChallenge and tag Bookster's official accounts.

2. Videos must be uploaded between January 22nd and February 28th.

Conditions for the Top Prizes (1000 USD and 300 USD):

1. To award the full prize:

   • At least 100 valid videos must be uploaded during the challenge.

   • The team or individual with the most points must accumulate at least 1 million views.

   
   

2. Cumulative Reductions:

   • If these conditions are not met:

     • The 1st and 2nd place prizes will be reduced by 10% for every 100,000 views missing to reach 1 million.

     • They will also be reduced by 10% for every 20 participants missing to reach 100 valid videos.

   • These reductions are cumulative up to a maximum of 50%.

Conditions for the Intermediate Prize (300 USD):

• It will only be awarded if the challenge has at least 50 valid participants by February 5th. Otherwise, 50% of the prize will be awarded.

Eligibility for Raffles:

• Only participants who have uploaded at least one valid video will be eligible for the raffles.

Specific Conditions for Teams

1. Team Registration:

   • All team members must register using the provided form and include:

     • Team name.

     • Social media profiles of all members.

   
   

2. Content Monitoring:

   • Bookster reserves the right to disqualify teams or participants whose videos include inappropriate content, messages contrary to the app's values, or any activity harmful to the brand.

   
   

3. Point Accumulation:

   • Team points will be the sum of all registered members' points, up to the limits established in the rules.

Prohibitions

Not Allowed:

• Purchasing views or using bots.

• Engaging in unfair participation that goes against the objective of promoting Bookster, even if not explicitly mentioned in the rules.

• Videos with inappropriate content (sex, drugs, alcohol, or offensive messages).

Key Dates

• Challenge Start: January 18th.

• Intermediate Prize: February 5th (300 USD to the leaderboard leader, subject to conditions).

• Challenge End: February 28th.

• Winner Announcement: First week of March.
